Cette trousse d’information a été conçue pour aider les pétitionnaires et les conseils scolaires à mener à bien la procédure de révocation d’un conseiller scolaire conformément aux articles de l’Education Act (EA) et de la Local Authorities Election Act (LAEA), ainsi qu’à d’autres lois et règlements pertinents. Cette trousse a été préparée à titre de référence pour les pétitionnaires et les secrétaires qui pourraient être concernés par un avis de pétition de révocation et impliqués dans l’élaboration d’une pétition de révocation.

Ce document d’accompagnement comprend des exemples de comportements que les enseignants et les leadeurs scolaires devraient connaitre, ainsi que d’autres comportements à éviter. Il n’a pas pour but d’inclure tous les exemples d’actions ou de comportements qui constitueraient une violation au code ou qui pourraient restreindre de quelque manière que ce soit l’application d’autres considérations en matière de comportements pouvant être prise en compte par l’Alberta Teaching Profession Commission. The purpose of this companion document is to help Alberta-certificated teachers and teacher leaders understand the new code of professional conduct for the teaching profession in Alberta. This companion document serves as a guide and includes some examples of types of behaviours of which teacher and teacher leaders should be aware, as well as others that should be avoided. This document is not intended to include examples of all behaviours. Because of their unique position of trust and influence in society in educating students in the kindergarten to Grade 12 education system, teachers and teacher leaders must exercise a high level of professional and personal judgment to ensure that their decisions and actions meet acceptable standards of professionalism.

Certification is the process used by Alberta Children’s Services to review educational training and competencies to determine eligibility and issue certification towards provincial certification in accordance with the Alberta Early Learning and Child Care Act. Working in licensed child care programs is a regulated occupation. Individuals who work in licensed facility-based and home-based child care programs must hold provincial certification issued by the Alberta Government. The educational requirements for certification as well as the process of applying to be certified are contained in this guide.
