Provides the findings of a June 2018 government-wide survey to measure employee engagement levels and drivers of engagement in the Alberta Public Service. Engagement is defined as the extent to which employees feel connected to and involved in their jobs and organizations. Includes an executive summary of government-wide findings and brief "snapshot reports" of department-specific findings.

Description

As part of the Government of Alberta’s ongoing commitment to implementing the principles of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, the Government is planning to implement Indigenous introductory training for all Alberta Public Service employees, and Alberta agencies, boards, and commissions. The intent is to raise awareness of the historical and contemporary experiences of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples in Alberta. Employees were engaged to provide feedback on the development of this training. This report summarizes the results of this feedback and will be used to inform the development of a training proposal.
