Recommendations for the Cold Lake planning area : advice to the Government of Alberta provided by the Northeast Caribou Sub-regional Task Force

Description

The Northeast Caribou Sub-regional Task Force was one of three task forces established in November 2019 to develop recommendations to inform the development of sub-regional plans to support caribou recovery in Alberta. The task force included representatives from First Nations, Métis groups, municipalities, environmental non-governmental organizations (ENGOs), the forest industry, the energy industry, trappers, motorized recreation groups, and other land-users. This reports presents the recommendations made by the task force to inform the development of a sub-regional plan for the Cold Lake sub-regional area, which includes the Cold Lake caribou range.
