Description

The Employment Standards Code and Employment Standards Regulation describe the minimum standards that must be provided to employees working in Alberta, including payment of wages, hours of work, overtime, vacation and holidays, leaves and termination of employment, the employment of young people, and industry-specific rules. This tool kit was developed to help employers understand and comply with the standards.
