Environmental Impact Assessment and associated applications pertaining to the proposed Parsons Creek Aggregates Parsons Creek Aggregates Limestone Quarry Project. The proposal is for a limestone quarry with production rates of 500,000 tonnes per year initially with potential for peak production rate of 2.5 million tonnes per year in the future. The location is north of the Fort McMurray Urban Service Boundary and between Hwy 63 and the Athabasca River within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. The EIA was deemed complete in 2013. La contribution du gouvernement du Canada à la nouvelle École des Quatre-Vents localisée à Peace River appuiera l’ajout d’espaces dédiés aux programmes préscolaires et de garderie ainsi qu’à un espace multifonctionnel pour la communauté francophone locale. Ce projet est financé dans le cadre de l’Entente Canada-Alberta relative à l’enseignement dans la langue de la minorité et à l’enseignement de la langue seconde 2019-2020. Approuvé à l’origine le 23 mars 2021; modification en vigueur le 1 avril 2022.

This project is funded under the Canada–Alberta Agreement on Minority-Language Education and Second-Language Instruction 2019-2020. Originally approved March 23, 2021; amendment effective April 1, 2022.

This addendum outlines Forest Management Plan-specific ground rules which apply to the areas outlined in forest management agreements 0900044 and 0900045. These rules are in addition to the Alberta Timber Harvest Planning and Operating Ground Rules 2023. Where a rule in the addendum and a rule in the provincial OGR relate to the same subject matter or objective, the rule in the addendum governs. FMP-specific addendums are supplemental to the OGRs and will be negotiated with the applicable FMA holder where additional ground rules are needed to address specific strategies in an FMP or unique physical or non-physical landscape attributes.
