Alberta Legislation is now accessible through the Alberta Open Government Portal

Even more Alberta information is accessible, thanks to collaboration between Alberta Queen’s Printer and the Alberta Open Government Portal. Now, Albertans can search for electronic versions of laws and regulations enabling them to add context to the data and publications that are already in the portal.

Note that similar to the Alberta Open Data licence, material made available by the Alberta Queen’s Printer permits any person to reproduce Alberta’s statutes and regulations without seeking permission and without charge, provided due diligence is exercised to ensure the accuracy of the materials produced, and Crown Copyright is acknowledged. This addition to the Alberta Open Government Portal enables citizens to search for laws, publications and datasets in a centralized location to provide the full picture and make discovery of data and information easier.
