Application and supporting documentation from the Fort McKay First Nation and Fort McKay Métis Community Association requesting a review of the Lower Athabasca Regional Plan. One of six requests for reviews of the plan, which came into force in September 2012. As per the Alberta Land Stewardship Act, a person who is directly and adversely affected by a regional plan or an amendment to a regional plan may, within 12 months from the date the regional plan or amendment affecting the person comes into force, request a review of the regional plan or amendment.

The Lower Athabasca Regional Advisory Council was established on December 16, 2008, to provide strategic advice and recommendations to the Government of Alberta on the development of the Lower Athabasca Regional Plan. It completed its mandate in March 2010 by providing its advice to government. The council met 13 times during its tenure. The meeting agendas and the meeting notes (when produced) are included in this record. Also included is a list of the team members and the team charter.
