In August 2013 the Cold Lake First Nations submitted an application requesting a review of the Lower Athabasca Regional Plan, which came into force in September 2012. The Government of Alberta responded to this request in June of 2014. This resource contains the reply of the Cold Lake First Nations to the government's response.

The Lower Athabasca Regional Advisory Council was established on December 16, 2008, to provide strategic advice and recommendations to the Government of Alberta on the development of the Lower Athabasca Regional Plan. It completed its mandate in March 2010 by providing its advice to government. The council met 13 times during its tenure. The meeting agendas and the meeting notes (when produced) are included in this record. Also included is a list of the team members and the team charter.
