Description

The annual report of the ministry of Transportation contains financial information of the ministry and a comparison of actual performance results to desired results set out in the ministry business plan, which was published as part of the previous year's budget. The report also includes financial statements for the entities making up the ministry and for which the minister is responsible.

Alternative fuel systems such as electricity, compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), hydrogen, and hydrogen/diesel dual fuel, have heavier components than diesel engines and may exceed maximum legal weights. To encourage the broader use of these fuel types, Alberta Transportation is providing additional axle weight on these types of vehicles to offset the added weight of equipment.
