Update report on Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development's upstream oil and gas reclamation certificate program

Description

The Province introduced reclamation certificates in 1963 to promote reclamation of industrially disturbed private lands. The program was expanded to include public lands in 1978 and revised in 2003 to increase the province's ability to handle certificate applications while maintaining environmental standards.
