Personal information of deceased persons

Description

This Bulletin provides an overview of the FOIP Act as it relates to the personal information of deceased individuals, reviewing the general and some specific provisions that apply to deceased individuals. The Bulletin also considers the application of the FOIP Act to the information of deceased individuals in different contexts. This Bulletin takes into consideration decisions issued by the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta up to December 31, 2008.
