Provides information to help on-farm slaughter operators to design a processing facility that supports the hygienic production, handling and storage of meat, including guidance on materials used for floors, walls, ceiling, doors and food contact surfaces. This information sheet is one of seven information sheets which are required reading for on-farm slaughter operation applicants planning on conducting slaughtering and/or processing of uninspected meat products.
