Methodology for the electricity displacement factor

Description

Outlines and describes the methodology to calculate the Electricity Grid Displacement Factor. The EGDF is used within the Alberta Emission Offset System to quantify emission offsets from projects that follow an approved quantification protocol and supply renewable electricity to Alberta’s electrical grid, reduce electricity used from the grid, or increase the use of electricity from the grid.
