Description
Fluoroquinolones, a group of broad-spectrum antibiotics used widely for the treatment of respiratory and urinary tract infections, are among the top five prescribed antibiotics dispensed in Alberta. This issue of Health Trends Alberta looks at the dispensation rates by gender for fluoroquinolones between 2010 and 2013.
