Description

Under an extended producer responsibility system, producers take responsibility at end-of-life for the products and packaging they put on the market, such as single-use products, packaging and paper products and hazardous and special products. This information sheet provides information on anticipated transition and implementation timelines and general information as it relates to Alberta's Extended Producer Responsibility Regulation, which came into force on November 30, 2022.
