Description

Contains the responses of the Ministry of Community and Social Services to recommendations from the Office of the Child and Youth Advocate for mandatory reviews into child deaths. The Child and Youth Advocate Act provides the Advocate with the authority to conduct investigative reviews. The Advocate may investigate systemic issues arising from the death of a child who was receiving child intervention services within two years of their death. The Act requires each ministry to respond publicly within 75 days of the release of a report.
