Description
The purpose of this Bulletin is to offer public bodies guidance on the disclosure of business contact information under section 40(1)(bb.1) of the Act. This Bulletin also reviews a public body’s obligations under Part 2 of the Act with respect to the collection, use, accuracy, protection, and retention of business contact information. Included as well is a discussion of access to business contact information under Part 1 of the Act. This Bulletin takes into consideration decisions issued by the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta up to December 31, 2008.
