Description
The RSA is designed to determine the forest regeneration status of young managed stands relative to an assumed future condition. The standard provides detailed descriptions of the office and field procedures and imparts practical aids and tools to assist timber disposition holders in conducting forest regeneration assessments. The information obtained by using the RSA is intended to support a wide variety of activities including regulatory requirements, planning applications, forest regeneration monitoring and decision making.
