Description

The Youth Plan has been developed to address the unique needs of youth and places a particular emphasis on strengthening families first and ensuring youth experience healthy transitions across the system of care. The prevention of youth homelessness and reunifying families when possible is a top priority. The Youth Plan, guided by the principles of Alberta’s Social Policy Framework, emphasizes alignment across government programs and systems. The Youth Plan engages government, communities, parents and youth in building solutions.
