Description
Environmental Impact Assessment and associated applications pertaining to the proposed Cenovus FCCL Ltd. Foster Creek Thermal Project - Phase J Expansion. The proposal is for an expansion of the existing Cenovus Foster Creek SAGD operation, increasing the total approved bitumen production to 295,000 bbls/d. The location is within Improvement District 349, approximately 90 kilometres north of the City of Cold Lake. The EIA was deemed complete in 2014.
