Description

The purpose of this fact sheet series is to help producers and processors understand the key elements needed to manage a business. The fact sheets also discuss some of the essential components used to develop a business plan and assess the profitability of a business venture. Farmers’ markets are the most common consumer direct marketing outlet for farm producers. Markets are located throughout Alberta and provide easy access to both producers and consumers. An internet address listing of farmers’ markets in Alberta is included in the links section of this fact sheet.
