The funding manual assists school jurisdictions, charter schools, accredited funded private schools and private ECS operators in accessing and understanding Alberta Education funding. It provides details on the funding available for the school year and includes applicable formulas, funding rates, criteria and reporting requirements. Funding from Alberta Education supports the provision of approved education programs for students and children in Early Childhood Services (ECS) to Grade 12.

This document describes the administrative process and methodology used by Alberta Education to conduct and calculate the Alberta Education Assurance (AEA) survey results. As part of the Assurance Framework, Alberta Education surveys teachers, students and their parents/guardians to gather information on the quality of education provided by school authorities and their schools. Results are provided to each school and school authority to evaluate school and school authority performance on AEA survey measures, report in their annual education results reports and help them develop their education plans. Also included in this record are copies of the survey instruments.

Les élèves de l’Alberta retourneront à l’école à l’automne 2021 et la plupart d’entre eux retourneront à l’apprentissage en personne. Afin de réduire la propagation de la COVID-19 et d’autres maladies respiratoires, les écoles adopteront, dans leurs activités normales pour l’année scolaire 2021-2022, des recommandations visant le respect des mesures de santé publique. Il s’agira entre autres d’encourager les membres du personnel et les élèves admissibles à se faire vacciner contre la COVID-19 et la grippe, de mettre en place des mesures environnementales comme l’entretien des systèmes de ventilation et des normes de nettoyage régulier, de promouvoir l’hygiène des mains, l’étiquette respiratoire et le repos à la maison quand on est malade. Les écoles ne seront pas tenues de mettre en oeuvre toutes les mesures sanitaires en place durant l’année scolaire 2020-2021. Les autorités scolaires continuent d’avoir la capacité et la responsabilité correspondante pour toutes les mesures locales...
