The Registered Pesticide Product Listing translates the federal pesticide classifications into the appropriate Alberta Schedule, as described in the Pesticide (Ministerial) Regulation. This publication identifies the Alberta Provincial Schedule of all end-use registered pesticides in Canada. This is a valuable tool for pesticide vendors to ensure that they are selling pesticides to the appropriate end-user as identified in the Registered Pesticide Product Listing.

The technical report summarizes temporal trends occurring for select water quality parameters within a 15-year dataset of water quality information collected during the Irrigation District Water Quality (IDWQ) program. Temporal trends at the regional and sample site scale were conducted to determine overall change in water quality parameters and identify possible areas of concern. This information is critical for enabling the agriculture and irrigation sectors to be proactive in addressing environmental concerns, food safety and demonstrating stewardship of Alberta’s land and water resources.

The frequency of detection, concentration, potential toxicity and contribution to antimicrobial resistance of non-target species are detailed. This information is used by the agriculture and irrigation industry to be proactive in addressing environmental concerns and management of Alberta's land and water resources.

A comprehensive list of priority environmental contaminants were monitored in blood serum of pregnant women in 2005, with the purpose of establishing the magnitude of exposure to environmental contaminants during pregnancy for women living in all regions of Alberta. The objectives were specifically to examine the influence of age, geographic location, and seasonality on the maternal serum concentrations of man-made or naturally occurring chemicals that women may absorb from food, drinking water, air, soil, household dust, or commercial products. This is the first Province-wide biomonitoring study for Alberta.
