The following resources provides a year over year analysis of indicator results as a function of municipalities. Each summary includes the current year results, as well as results for the previous year, a three-year rolling average, and provincial summary results for comparison. The Alberta Education Assurance Measures provide school boards with a consistent way to measure their success and assess progress using a broad spectrum of measures. Reporting results allows Albertans to see how their school authority is performing and ensures that the entire education system is open and accountable.

As part of the tools Alberta Municipal Affairs uses to measure its performance, the ministry has developed a number of municipal indicators which measure specific aspects of each municipality's governance, finances or community. This fact sheet provides an explanation of each municipal indicator and how it are used by the Government of Alberta. These indicators can also be used by municipalities to obtain useful information and alerts to emerging challenges.

This document describes the administrative process and methodology used by Alberta Education to conduct and calculate the Alberta Education Assurance (AEA) survey results. As part of the Assurance Framework, Alberta Education surveys teachers, students and their parents/guardians to gather information on the quality of education provided by school authorities and their schools. Results are provided to each school and school authority to evaluate school and school authority performance on AEA survey measures, report in their annual education results reports and help them develop their education plans. Also included in this record are copies of the survey instruments.
