Director's Order imposed on 9445-3933 Quebec Inc. operating as Express Payday Loan and Haja Rasolofomandimby to cease engaging in high-cost credit activities in Alberta until the licensing requirements have been met, to cease entering into high-cost credit agreements that do not meet the regulatory requirements set out under the legislation, to cease contacting any individual or person in Alberta in a manner that contravenes the High-Cost Credit Regulation, to cease entering into transactions with consumers if they are unable to receive any reasonable benefit from the transaction, and to cease engaging in activities intended to deceive or mislead consumers or misrepresent their rights, remedies or obligations.
