Description

An air quality modelling assessment is usually undertaken as part of the approval process to understand the impact of industrial activity on the surrounding ambient air. The Air Quality Model Guideline provides guidance on the appropriate modelling to be undertaken in Alberta when one of these assessments are required. Also included are three companion documents. The first provides clarification on interpreting modelling results for typical emission scenarios, when required by the guideline. The second provides a companion spreadsheet for determining whether or not the modelling terrain is considered complex as per Section 3.0 of the guideline. The third provides stakeholder comments to the original draft guideline [2020] and Environment and Parks response to these comments.

These data sheets present the results of the monitoring for treated drinking water, which was undertaken between July 2 and July 31, 2013.

Environmental Impact Assessment and associated applications pertaining to the proposed Sasol Canada Holdings Ltd. Canada GTL (CGTL) Project. The proposal involves a Gas To Liquid Facility (GTL) that will convert natural gas to GTL liquid products, with a production capacity of 96,000 barrels per day, of GTL diesel, GTL naptha and liquefied petroleum gas. Forest company forest management plans (FMPs) detail when, where and how timber on Alberta Crown land will be managed in order to balance social, economic and environmental needs based on input from the public, Indigenous peoples and interest groups. The forest management planning area under consideration is FMA 9900037. The FMP covers Forest Management Unit G15 located in west central Alberta within the Upper Peace Land-Use Framework planning region; it falls within the Subalpine, Upper Foothills, Lower Foothills and Central Mixedwood and Dry Mixedwood Natural Subregions.

The proposal is for construction of a run-of-river hyro plant including headworks (powerhouse and weir), headpond and power line with a maximum gererating capacity of 100 MW, located 2 km upstream of the Dunvegan highway bridge, near Fairview, Alberta.
