Environmental Impact Assessment and associated applications pertaining to the proposed Parsons Creek Aggregates Parsons Creek Aggregates Limestone Quarry Project. The proposal is for a limestone quarry with production rates of 500,000 tonnes per year initially with potential for peak production rate of 2.5 million tonnes per year in the future. The location is north of the Fort McMurray Urban Service Boundary and between Hwy 63 and the Athabasca River within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. The EIA was deemed complete in 2013. This addendum outlines Forest Management Plan-specific ground rules which apply to area outlined in Forest Management Agreements 0100038 and 2100047 and forest management units C04, C02, C01, B01, B02 and B12. These rules are in addition to the Alberta Timber Harvest Planning and Operating Ground Rules. Where a rule in this addendum and a rule in the provincial OGR relate to the same subject matter or objective, the rule in the addendum governs. FMP-specific addendums are supplemental to the OGRs and will be negotiated with the applicable FMA holder where additional ground rules are needed to address specific strategies in an FMP or unique physical or non-physical landscape attributes.
