Description

Part I of this report includes a description of the location and the physical environment of the county. Part II contains a description of the soils and soil units, which are used to describe the composition of delineations on the map. In Part III, the soil units are interpreted for soil capability for agriculture. Appendices include data pertinent to the classification, interpretation, and evaluation of the soil units.

Description

The first part of this report includes a map and report proper, which give the areal location of, and the pedological data pertaining to, each soil type in the area covered by the Edmonton sheet. The second part of the report is a Characteristics, Management and Use table. In this table the physical, chemical, meteorological and geographical characteristics are translated into factors that effect the use of the land and are presented in terms that can be practically applied.
