The Weidemeyer's admiral is a Species of Special Concern in Alberta because its breeding range is limited and it is found only in the Milk River Basin of southern Alberta. This plan provides background information on the species and outlines a set of objectives and management actions to help meet the goal of maintaining current distribution and breeding populations of the butterfly in Alberta.
