Description

The Act establishes forest reserves for the conservation of forest and other vegetation in forests, and for the maintenance of optimum water supplies in the reserves. The Act further describes the location of forest reserves in Alberta, addresses matters of authorization to adjust the boundaries of forest reserves and to make regulations, and makes the Forests Act and the Public Lands Act applicable to forest reserves.

This Regulation defines "recreation area", establishes the duties of the owner, location and operations of recreation areas, drainage, accommodation facilities, potable water and non-potable water, garbage, privies, location near water, the handling of recreational vehicle water supplies and waste, flushing of recreational vehicles holding tanks, and houseboats.
