Description

Presents the quarterly job vacancy information of Alberta, by industry and by occupation. Based on data from the quarterly Government of Canada's Job Vacancy and Wage Survey (JVWS). The JVWS replaces the monthly collection of job vacancies through the Survey of Employment, Payrolls and Hours (SEPH), which has been discontinued. This shift in data sources contributed to the gap in reporting between 2018 and 2022.

Provides employer applicants details on eligibility and requirements for Canada-Alberta Job Grant funding. The Canada-Alberta Job Grant is a training program where an employer applies on behalf of their employee(s) for eligible training costs. Employers decide who gets training and what type of training may be needed for their employees. The goal of the grant program is to increase participation of Albertans in the labour force by helping them develop the skills they need to find and keep a job.
