Environmental Impact Assessment and associated applications pertaining to the proposed Parsons Creek Aggregates Parsons Creek Aggregates Limestone Quarry Project. The proposal is for a limestone quarry with production rates of 500,000 tonnes per year initially with potential for peak production rate of 2.5 million tonnes per year in the future. The location is north of the Fort McMurray Urban Service Boundary and between Hwy 63 and the Athabasca River within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. The EIA was deemed complete in 2013. Description

The Alberta Crop Report provides timely provincial and regional summaries of crop production in Alberta during the crop season, and is used by industry and other stakeholders for various purposes, including drought monitoring and forecasting of production insurance payments. The report is also used to validate some of the Alberta crop estimates generated by Statistics Canada. Data for the report is collected through regular surveys on moisture and crop conditions, progress of seeding and harvesting, insect and disease situation, yield potential and crop quality, etc., along with information from other sources. Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation (AGI) has delivered the Alberta Crop Reporting Program to clients since 1940.
