Description

Two ministerial orders for public lands fees, rents and other amounts payable updated fees for the Grazing Rental Rates Framework (MO 05/2024) and the Commercial Trail Riding (CTR) permits (MO 61/2023). These two orders contained conflicting information (one contained the CTR change but old grazing rental rate, and one with the new rental rates but old CTR rates); neither order reflects the change made in the other order. This ministerial order repeals those two orders and incorporates the previously approved Grazing Rental Rates Framework and the Commercial Trail Riding permit fee changes.

Monthly notice of the general rate of timber dues for timber that is used to make pulp, including the portion of timber dues collected by the Forest Resource Improvement Association of Alberta. Timber dues and other fees associated with timber dispositions are collected by the province to ensure that Albertans receive fair compensation for the use of publicly-owned forest resources. The timber dues rates applied are based on current market and financial conditions are can be found in Table 3 of the Timber Dues Ministerial Order.
