Budget 2019 reflects the government’s commitment to responsible fiscal management. It honours the promise of a credible balanced budget plan over four years. The fiscal choices are in keeping with government’s mandate: focus on jobs and deliver public services and infrastructure that support private sector investment and a vibrant society. This budget takes a measured approach to address overspending while focusing on three key priorities: Getting Albertans back to work, Making life better for Albertans, and Standing up for Alberta.
