Apprenticeships combine on-the-job training and work experience with technical training provided at or through a post-secondary institution – usually a college or technical institute. Technical training providers provide apprentices with access to formal instruction based on curriculum guides established by industry. This curriculum guide describes competence statements and supporting competence statements for the training component of the electrician apprenticeship program.
