Description

This design bulletin provides interim guidance regarding fish passage analysis for structures managed by Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors, including the use of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans’ Swim Performance Online Tools and the use of hydrological frequency analysis. Under the Federal Fisheries Act and Provincial Water Act, Transportation and Economic Corridors infrastructure cannot obstruct fish passage in any fish bearing water body.
