Description

Diabetes is a serious, chronic health condition and is viewed as a major cause of and contributor to extensive morbidity and mortality among Albertans. The Alberta Government is committed to developing a provincial strategy to reduce the risk of developing diabetes and related complications. This document presents this strategy and the coordinated and comprehensive approach Alberta Health and Wellness will take to address the prevention, care and management of diabetes in Alberta.
