On November 8th, 2022 at the 40th Annual Meeting of Federal-Provincial-Territorial Ministers responsible for the Status of Women, ministers endorsed the National Action Plan to End Gender-Based Violence; a ten-year, collaborative approach to ending gender-based violence. The Department for Women and Gender Equality Canada is funding provinces and territories to supplement and enhance services and supports within their jurisdictions to prevent gender-based violence and support survivors. The purpose of the agreement is to support Alberta's implementation of the National Action Plan based on our specific context and priorities.

Ceci représente la deuxième entente modificatrice d’un an à l’entente bilatérale et au protocole antérieurs.

The Governments of Alberta and Canada have signed a one-year amending agreement which extends the terms and conditions of the Protocol for Agreements for Minority-Language Education and Second-Language Instruction 2013-2018 and the Canada-Alberta Agreement for Minority-Language Education and Second-Language Instruction 2013-2018 into 2019-2020. This is the second one-year amending agreement to the former protocol and bilateral agreement.
