Description

The main purpose of this study was to document the current policies and practices of the three Prairie provinces (Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba) in setting seasonal truck road weight restrictions. Researchers were to also identify opportunities to support a science-based framework for rationalizing and harmonizing the three provinces' regulations and enforcement rules. Key findings from the study were presented in detail in four separate task reports. This executive summary summarizes the results reported in each of the final reports for the project.
