This ministerial order establishing the following documents as effective for the 2024 assessment year for taxation in 2025 and subsequent years: 2024 Alberta Linear Property Assessment Minister's Guidelines; 2024 Alberta Machinery and Equipment Assessment Minister's Guidelines; 2024 Alberta Railway Property Assessment Minister's Guidelines; 2024 Alberta Farm Land Property Assessment Minister's Guidelines; and 2005 Alberta Construction Cost Reporting Guide.

The 2024 Alberta Assessment Quality Minister’s Guidelines are established as set out in the attached documents. All municipalities must provide to the Minister a return in the form and manner prescribed in the 2024 Alberta Assessment Quality Minister’s Guidelines to comply with the Municipal Government Act (Section 319(1)). All municipalities must also provide to the Minister information and statistics of the type and in the manner described in the 2024 Alberta Assessment Quality Minister’s Guidelines. Ministerial Order No. MAG:017/23 is hereby rescinded. This ministerial order is in effect for assessments prepared for the 2025 and subsequent taxation years.

Furthermore, Linda Ann Reynolds and Deedra Deveau are appointed as official administrators for the amalgamated municipality of Clearwater County to supervise the municipality and its council. This appointment shall take effect on January 1, 2025, and remain in effect until the first organizational meeting of the interim Clearwater County council.
