Letter from Alberta’s minister of justice and solicitor general addressed to the federal minister of justice and attorney general, and the federal minister of public safety about combatting human trafficking. The minister encourages all jurisdictions to amend or enact legislation to adopt the Palermo Protocol definition of human trafficking. Legal actions to combat human trafficking are also suggested. The letter was sent to all provincial and territorial jurisdictions in Canada, as well.
