This report looks at the length of time interprovincial migrants tend to stay in Alberta, by their retention rates, and the characteristics of those who stay longer. These characteristics include gender, family type, province they are migrating from, and education. The purpose is to provide E&I with information that will aid in developing strategies to attract and retain skilled labour.
