Le projet proposé vise à créer un programme d'expérience professionnelle, de stage et de pratique au Campus Saint-Jean en établissant des partenariats avec des entreprises locales afin de fournir des compétences et une expérience reconnaissable aux francophones et aux nouveaux arrivants, tout en soutenant la communauté francophone. Ce programme d'initiative en matière de compétence travaillera avec des partenaires industriels pour former, par l'entremise de projets axés sur l'industrie, des francophones et des nouveaux arrivants qui sont actuellement sans emploi.

The proposed project aims to create a work experience, internship and practicum program at Campus Saint-Jean by partnering with local businesses to provide skills and recognizable experience for Francophones and newcomers, while supporting the Francophone community. This skills initiative program will work with industrial partners to train, through industry driven projects, currently unemployed Francophones and newcomers.

L'objectif de ce projet de quatre ans (2024-2028) est de fournir de nouveaux espaces scolaires et communautaires au Conseil scolaire Centre-Nord sur le terrain actuellement occupé par l'École Gabrielle-Roy. De plus, la province souhaite profiter de cette occasion pour améliorer la vitalité de la communauté francophone en ajoutant des espaces pour les services de garde d'enfants et des espaces multifonctionnels au projet conjoint des écoles Gabrielle-Roy et Michaëlle-Jean.

Dans le cadre de ce projet de deux ans (2024-2026), les facilitateurs de construction identitaire offriront une variété d’initiatives en français en fonction des besoins particuliers de chaque école.En intégrant des facilitateurs de construction identitaire dans les écoles du Conseil scolaire FrancoSud, ce projet cultivera un sentiment d’appartenance au sein des communautés francophones et augmentera le nombre d’inscriptions dans les écoles francophones en situation minoritaire.

In addition, the province wishes to use this opportunity to enhance the vitality of the Francophone community by adding childcare and multipurpose spaces in the École Gabrielle-Roy and École Michaëlle-Jean joint project.

It informs decision making at the provincial and local levels to promote equitable access to dual credit for high school students and to ensure applicable resources are in place for provincial implementation.
