Reports on a project to assess the demand for local food available in Alberta through farmers’ markets, farm retail and restaurants offering locally-sourced ingredients. Also includes a short section for community supported agriculture (CSA) box programs. The study also examined the preferred methods of communications with farmers or suppliers of local food, and the degree of consumer acceptance of local food as "food grown or made in Alberta."
