This guide introduces Alberta's occupational health and safety laws and the role of the worker in ensuring health and safety at the work site. It discusses provincial legislation related to occupational health and safety and describes the responsibilities of the workplace supervisor, employer and the provincial government, as well as those of the worker, in ensuring a healthy and safe workplace.
