The Water Quantity Management Plans and Frameworks map identifies areas in the province of Alberta which are covered by planning processes that include regulatory water use limits or policy. Plans and frameworks (provincial) are labelled black within the map. Transboundary water quantity agreements (inter-provincial, federal, international) are labelled blue. The Surface Water Allocation Directive would not apply to areas of the province covered by a water management plan or framework that provides water guidance.

This record contains a provincial-level map of the roads classified under this system, as well as finer-detailed maps for each transportation district.
