This document supported the use of a standard unique identifier and provided access to demographic and Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan eligibility information for individuals registered with Alberta Health and Wellness. It explained how authorised users could search, view, and update personal information, including names, addresses, phone numbers, alternate identifiers, relationships, and consent status, while maintaining privacy and confidentiality in accordance with the Health Information Act (HIA).
