The ministry business plan encompasses the department and all consolidated entities, and aligns with the strategic direction of the Government of Alberta. Each business plan includes a description of the ministry, desired outcomes, priority initiatives, and performance measures and indicators. Current and forecast budgeting information for the planning period is also included.

This initial engagement included meetings with various government and non-government groups in Massachusetts, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The Honourable Rob Renner, Minister of Environment, led a mission to London, United Kingdom, Brussels, Belgium and Strasbourg, France, May 15-21, 2010. The central theme of the mission was clean energy. With a growing global focus on Alberta’s energy interests, including the development of provincial oil sands, this mission provided an opportunity to engage with European policy makers around efforts underway in the province to promote clean energy technology and sustainable energy development.

Presents the terms of reference for the Intrabasin Water Coordinating Committee for the South Saskatchewan River Basin. The Committee was established to provide advice on managing water during periods of water shortage in any or all of the sub-basins, and on how to best meet the requirements of the Master Agreement on Apportionment, an agreement between Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Canada for sharing the waters of eastward flowing interprovincial streams.
