The Alberta Artist in Residence / Arts Ambassador Program seeks to inspire innovation in the arts and to promote a wider understanding and appreciation of the arts and artists in Alberta. Program guidelines describe the purpose and objectives of the program, outlines eligibility requirements, and lists the criteria to be used to evaluate funding requests. Also included are application procedures and reporting requirements.

Description

The Government of Alberta will provide one-time funding assistance to eligible organizations who own or operate a public facility and whose mandate includes a cultural, religious, spiritual, or ceremonial component. Funding will help offset the costs incurred to relaunch gatherings while following Alberta’s public health measures. This would include facility space changes to create no-contact areas, better ventilation, procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE), contracted cleaning services, technology upgrades for online delivery of services and language translation of health related signage.
