This guide provided assistance to licensed daycare, out-of-school care, group family child care, and approved family day home child care programs in applying for grant funding to support the recruitment, retention and professional development of their staff. Available funding supports include wage top-up and professional development funding. As of April 1, 2026 funding is now provided under the Early Childhood Educator Workforce Supports Grant (see Related tab).
